Board of Management
The Board of Management and Co Sligo VEC work in partnership with the management of Corran College in the provision of a comprehensive system of post-primary education, open to all young people in the community, and in the provision of ongoing opportunities for persons living in the area in keeping with the national policies of lifelong learning.
The Board is actively involved in the school's affairs and in the promotion of a caring, inclusive school where all our students are encouraged to develop to their full potential.
The Board of Management of Corran College maintain the School Ethos and also the curriculum provision. Common issues dealt with include discipline, enrolment and curriculum.
The Board of Management has a role in ratifying policies brought forward by management before their implementation in the school.
It supports the school's extra-curricular activities building a sense of community and supports Continual Professional Development of Staff.
